In recent years, public private partnership (PPP) has proven itself as an extremely efficient form of cooperation between the public and private sectors in the execution of building construction projects and it has, to an ever-increasing degree, established itself as an alternative to more traditional approaches to awarding contracts. The advantage of PPP projects lies in the fact that financing, design, construction and revitalization of a real-estate property come from a single source with the goal of achieving a comprehensive optimization of efficiency gains from life cycle costs.
At HSG Zander, all PPP projects are processed in the Public Private Partnership department. Due to the long project periods that are connected with this special project form, often set up over a number of decades, special attention is paid to the costs for re-investment, in addition to optimally designed operations, because these make up a significant portion of the life cycle costs.
