In the space of three years, the old Frankfurt Waldstadion was transformed into the Commerzbank Arena Frankfurt. During this period, the four stands were reconstructed bit by bit without disrupting play in the arena. The grandstand is home to the VIP Business Club, which is used as a business centre outside of playing times. The stadium was one of the venues to stage the FIFA World Cup 2006. | |
